TL-30-438: The group spent their final day today touring Tel Aviv. They began the day at Rabin Square, a memorial to former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who was assassinated in 1995. Then, they took a tour of Independence Hall to learn about the establishment of the State of Israel. After lunch, the group had free time to relax at the beach on Tel Aviv’s beautiful Mediterranean Coast. Then, they walked around the old city of Jaffa. After an exciting day, the group enjoyed a closing dinner and wrap up session to reflect on everything they’ve experienced over the past 10 days. They will sleep just a little tonight before waking up to head to the airport very early tomorrow morning.

TL-30-440: The group spent another day in the desert today. They began by hiking the Nahal Chavarim trail through the Negev. After, they drove to Sde Boker, to visit the desert outpost and grave of Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion. After taking in the incredible views, they traveled to a local desert farm, called Naot Farm, to learn about ecology and farming in the Negev. At the end of the day, they left the desert and headed north to the city of Netanya.

TL-30-441: Today, the group began their last day in the desert with the challenging hike, Nahal Chavarim. Then, they traveled to Sde Boker to see the grave of Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and a beautiful desert outlook. Afterward, the group began their journey out of the desert. On the way, they made one last stop at a local desert farm to learn about ecology and environmentalism in the Negev. They finished driving north and arrived in Netanya where they will spend the night at the Blue Bay Hotel.

TL-30-443: The group started their day today with the beautiful desert canyon hike, Ein Ovdat. Afterwards, they traveled to Sde Boker, a desert outpost and the grave site of Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Then, the group made their way to Naot Farm, a local desert farm, to do some fun activities and learn about ecology in the Negev. In the evening, the group left the desert and departed north for Jerusalem, where they will spend the next part of their trip.

TL-30-444: Today, the group began their morning with the Nahal Chavarim hike in the Negev. Then, they traveled to the beautiful desert outpost at Sde Boker, when they also visited the grave of Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion. Afterward, the group traveled to Naot Farm to do interactive activities at this local desert farm. At the end of the day they left the Negev and drove north to Jerusalem and the Cesar Hotel.

TL-30-445 and TL-30-446: The groups spent another day in the north today. They started by visiting Mount Bental, an old military outpost and a beautiful lookout point onto Israel’s northern border. Then, they hiked Kidmat Tzvi. After a fun morning, the group traveled to Tzfat to spend the rest of the day. In Tzfat, the groups learned about the city’s ancient history, visited historic synagogues, met with local artists and shopped in their stores, and had free time to explore. The groups will spend their last night tonight in the Afik Kibbutz.

TL-30-447: Today, the group spent their first full day in Israel. They began their morning at the Gadot Lookout, a beautiful overlook of northern Israel and the Golan Heights. Then, they hiked to the breathtaking Banias Waterfalls. After the hike, they drove to the top of Mount Bental for another great overlook of northern Israel. Next, the group traveled to the Sea of Galilee, or Kinneret, for water activities. The group had a great time banana boating and tubing in the refreshing water. They finished the night in Tiberias participating in a cultural activity on Israeli music.
