TL-30-406: The group finished their time in Jerusalem with a much awaited tour of the Old City. They walked the city’s ancient streets, learning about its incredible history. Then, they made their way to the Kotel, or Western Wall, where the group received time for individual reflection and the opportunity to place a note of personal prayer in the cracks of the Wall’s stones. It was very meaningful for the entire group. Afterward, the group took a visit to Mahane Yehuda, an open air street market, where they received time to explore and taste some local, fresh food. After a fun day in Jerusalem, the group left the city and departed for the next leg of their trip, the Negev (or Israeli desert). They spent the night in Arad.
