TL-30-428 and TL-30-429: Today the group took a tour of the Old City in Jerusalem. They walked the city’s ancient streets and visited the Kotel, or Western Wall, where they got to place a note in the Wall’s cracks. The group also visited one of Israel’s largest open air markets, Mahane Yehuda, for some exploring and shopping. The group returned to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. They welcomed Shabbat with Kabbalat Shabbat, enjoyed a festive dinner, and played some fun games.

TL-30-430 and TL-30-435: The group spent today in Jerusalem’s Old City. The group toured the Old City’s ancient streets and sites and visited the Kotel, or Western Wall. The group also welcomed a handful of Israeli peers into their group who will join them for the next few days of the trip. The group also had time today to explore Mahane Yehuda, an open air market in Jerusalem. They welcomed in Shabbat this evening with a candle lighting ceremony and ate a delicious Shabbos dinner.

TL-30-431: Today the group began their day by meeting a handful of Israeli peers who will be joining the trip for the next few days. They played some icebreakers games to get to know one another. Then, the entire group took a tour of Jerusalem’s Old City and visited the Kotel, or Western Wall. Afterward, they walked through Jerusalem’s large open air market, Mahane Yehuda. Later this evening the group participated in a candle lighting ceremony to welcome in Shabbat, followed by a festive dinner.

TL-30-432 and TL-30-795: Today the group visited Jerusalem’s Old City. They saw many important historical sites in the city and visited the Kotel, or Western Wall. They also welcomed several Israeli peers into their group today, as part of the mifgash program. Then, the group traveled to Mahane Yehuda for some free time to explore, shop, and eat. In the evening the group returned to the hotel to get ready for Shabbat. They welcomed in Shabbat and enjoyed a Shabbos dinner, followed by an evening oneg.

TL-30-437: The group kicked off their trip today with a visit to Tzfat, a beautiful northern city and the birthplace of Jewish mysticism. They toured Tzfat, learned about his rich history, and had free time for exploring local shops and lunch. Afterward, the group returned to their hotel to prepare for Shabbat. They had Kabbalat Shabbat to welcome in Shabbat and then enjoyed a festive dinner. They finished the night with fun group activities at the hotel.
