TL-30-423 and Tl-30-426: Today the group spent their final full day in Tel Aviv. The started with a visit to Rabin Square, a memorial site for former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Then, they toured Independence Hall to learn about the creation of the State of Israel. In the afternoon, they spent time relaxing on the beach on the beautiful Mediterranean coast. This evening they traveled to Haifa where they will spend their final night in Israel. Here are some photos from their day in Tel Aviv.

TL-30-424: Waking up in the Bedouin Tents, this group prepared for another day in the Negev. They started with a beautiful hike through the Israeli desert. Then, they traveled to Sde Boker, a desert outpost the grave of Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Afterward, they visited Naot Farm, a local Israeli desert farm. After completing their time in the desert, the group traveled to Jerusalem where they will stay tonight. Once they arrive, they will enjoy a group night out on the town. TL-30-425: The group had an extremely full day today. They started with a climb up Masada before the sunrise to see a breathtaking view of the sun coming up over the Israeli desert. After making their way down the mountain, the group headed to Ein Bokek Beach for a float in the Dead Sea. The also visited the desert oasis at Nahal David. In the afternoon, the group sadly had to part ways with their Israeli peers, who they have enjoyed getting to know. After their goodbyes, the group traveled to the Bedouin tents. Upon arrival, they took camel rides through the desert. They learned about Bedouin culture and music and enjoyed an authentic Bedouin dinner.

TL-30-427: The group spent today in the Israeli desert. Their day started before the sun as they began their climb up Masada to see the beautiful sunrise from the top. Then, they descended the mountain using the Snake Path. Later, they walked the Nahal David path to a desert oasis and afterward traveled to Ein Bokek Beach for a float in the Dead Sea. The group loved covering themselves with mud. At the end of a jam packed day, the group traveled to the Bedouin tents where they will spend the night in Bedouin hospitality. TL-30-428 and TL-30-429: The groups enjoyed their first day in the desert today starting with Masada. The group climbed the mountain early in the morning to witness a beautiful sunrise over the desert. At the bottom , they enjoyed a delicious breakfast and coffee. Their next stop was a hike of Nahal David to a beautiful desert oasis, followed by a trip to the Dead Sea for a quick float in the salty water! In the evening the group traveled to the Bedouin tents to spend the night. They enjoyed learning about Bedouin culture and will spend tonight relaxing and bonding around the campfire.

TL-30-430 and TL-30-435: The groups spent their first full day today in Israel together. They started by visiting the Gadot Lookout and Memeorial for a beautiful view of northern Israel. Then, they went on a challenging hike through Nahal Zavitan. In the afternoon the group visited an Olive Oil Press to learn about organic products in Israel. After, they visited Mount Bental for another great view. Tonight the group will finish their day with a cultural activity.

TL-30-431: Today the group started their day in the north with a beautiful view of Israel from the Gadot Lookout and Memorial. Then, they took a challenging hike through Nahal Zavitan. After lunch, the group visited another beautiful lookout from Mount Bental, viewing the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon. The group finished the day with some exciting water sports in the Kinneret, or Sea of Galilee. They went banana boating, tubing, and relaxed in the refreshing water. Tonight the group will get to participate in a fun cultural activity about Israeli music.

TL-30-432: The group landed in Israel this afternoon after their long journey. Once in Ben Gurion airport, they met their Israeli tour guide, grabbed their bags, and headed north. At the hotel, they did icebreaker games to get to know each other better and some trip introductions. They enjoyed a delicious first dinner at the hotel. The group will be combined with another Israel Outdoors group, bus TL-30-795, who arrived today as well.

TL-30-795: The group arrived in Israel this evening after a smooth flight. The group got their bag and immediately headed north to begin their trip. Once they got settled into the hotel, the group was introduced to another Israel Outdoors group they will be joining for the reminder of the trip, bus TL-30-432. The groups did some ice breakers and trip orientation to kick things off.
