TL-30-421: This group enjoyed their last day in Israel before departing for the U.S. We’ll miss you!

TL-30-423 and TL-30-426: These groups visited Har Herzl, Israel’s national cemetery, and Yad Vashem, the national Holocaust Museum and Memorial. They then enjoyed an overlook of Jerusalem before departing for the south where they enjoyed a highlight of the Birthright Israel journey – camel trekking through the Negev Desert! They are spending the night in a Bedouin Tent. Check out some photos from today …

Aug 17 - Yad Vashem Aug 17 - Jerusalem

TL-30-424: This group had a somber day visited Yad Vashem, Holocaust Museum and Memorial, and Har Herzl, Israel’s national cemetery.

TL-30-425: This group enjoyed a view of Jerusalem from the Armon Hanatziv Promenade. They then toured the southern excavations of the Kotel at the Davidson Center before having free time to reflect at the Kotel – Western Wall. They then enjoyed lunch in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. In the afternoon, they had time to explore and purchase souvenirs on Ben Yehuda Street, Jerusalem’s pedestrian mall. They then volunteered with the Gift of Life.

TL-30-427: This group spent the day in Jerusalem, beginning with an overlook of the entire city. They then learned about biblical Jerusalem during an underground tour at the City of David. They then went on a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, including a stop at the Kotel – Western Wall, for a moment of personal reflection. In the afternoon, they had free time on Ben Yehuda Street, Jerusalem’s pedestrian mall, where many participants purchased souvenirs. They then volunteered with the Gift of Life before preparing for their visit to Yad Vashem tomorrow.

TL-30-428 and TL-30-429: These groups went on a beautiful water hike to the Banais. Then then enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the Kinneret – Sea of Galilee, where they enjoyed banana boating and other water sports.
