Specialty Groups

Each year, Israel Outdoors partners with a number of innovative Jewish organizations to provide a series of Special Group options for Taglit-Birthright Israel applicants. In each case, our Special Group programs are based on the core Israel Quest trip experience. The actual itineraries may vary according to the idea behind the trip, and certain Special Group programs are offered only to specific populations (e.g. medical students). Read on for more details.

The "Medical Students Mifgash Experience" pairs American and Canadian medical students (including admitted medical students), nursing students, and already licensed nurses with Israeli medical students, medics, paramedics, and physicians for all 10-days of the program in Israel. Highlights include participation in field training exercises, military medic simulations, and opportunities to network with Israeli physicians of all backgrounds. It's a special way to experience Israel and deepen ties with your Israeli colleagues. For more general details about what you will experience on the trip, check out Israel Quest.
