Registration Tips
Are you ready for Registration Day?
Registering for Birthright Israel on time (and correctly) will help you get on the trip you want with Israel Outdoors. We’ve put together some key tips to get you registered successfully. But first things first — if you haven’t already done so, sign up now to get a head start on your registration, and lock in priority trip selection status.
1) Complete your registration on Monday
General registration opens on Monday, September 12th at 10am EST. You can link to it from israeloutdoors.com. It takes about 10 minutes.
NOTE: If you’ve already pre-registered, you will still need to complete the remaining steps of your primary application.
2) It doesn’t matter what time of day you register
It makes no difference whether you register in the morning, afternoon, or evening — and the system sometimes gets overloaded in the AM.
3) It does matter that you register on time!
Even though you already pre-registered (great job!), you need to complete the rest of your registration by the end Monday to stay on track.
4) Submit a refundable deposit with your application
Completing your registration also means submitting your fully refundable trip deposit (why a deposit?). Don’t worry, no commitment is involved.
5) Be sure to choose Israel Outdoors
Make sure to choose Israel Outdoors as your Birthright Israel trip organizer. This is a gift you can only get once — choose wisely!
6) Choose a non-binding travel date and trip type
As part of your primary application, you will choose a preferred travel date and program type. This is just to give us an idea of what you want.
7) Stay tuned for the Secondary Application invite
Israel Outdoors will email you an invite to our Secondary Application within 24 hours of your registering. This is where you can view and rank your specific trip date choices – you’ll even be able to view detailed flight information.
8) Signing up with a friend?
Be sure to coordinate if you plan on traveling with a friend(s), make sure they register on time, select Israel Outdoors and choose the same trip dates as you! You’ll even be able to search for and tag your friends on our Secondary Application.
